When you see something you can't live without, you write your name and the bid amount on the sheet. (Come back often and check your bids...someone may sneak and outbid you). At the end, each object that has bids on it goes to the highest bidder. Then we have a 'loud auction' for objects . Don't forget the high thrills on the water with jousting. More fun than you can imagine in a canoe. It's anyone's game! The bangers and beans will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share at the feast. Bring your water weapons, and other heat defenses. Even though there's lots of shade, it's H*O*T there. Also, bring anti-bug spray. Calendar: 08/16: Hot August Knight tba Calendar: 08/16: Acadamia tba Calendar: 08/16: St. Corrigan's/Gallavally The Canton of Gallavally's always beloved but frequently lost patron Saint Corrigan is on his convoluted way back to Hurkey Creek Park, in the cool mountains near Idyllwild. To celebrate his return, we will have a Bear Pit, Sheep Rugby and/or Sack the town race as well as other fighting scenarios for individuals and Teams in armoured combat and in youth combat. There will also be multiple games for the entire populace including Hunkerhauser (both combat and non-combat), Jumper Jousting and more equally silly and fun activities. We will again be holding a silent auction/raffle to help offset the high cost of the park while keeping site fees low; we ask the populace for donations to make this as successful as it was last year.
